Today the Bagatitsa Ensemble presents a unique folklore show, being one of the few in the world to have such a format. The ensemble has an orchestra, a dancing choir and a singing ballet. The volcano of energy, the Cossack temperament, valiant prowess, folk humor, color and entertainment of the historically verified Cossack costume create an unforgettable holiday atmosphere at concerts. Each number is a scene from the real life of the Cossacks, told in a song or shown in a dance. Bylina and thoughts, love and passion, daring valiant, festive festivities - all this is shown in the modern, understandable to any viewer of the play.

Incendiary, sparkling Cossack songs and dances staged by T. Fominykh literally explode with their irrepressibility and high artistry any audience of the audience, resulting in complete and frantic delight.

Artistic Director of the Ensemble and soloist - Tatiana Fominykh. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Art. In the Ensemble has been working since its foundation. He is the winner of many youth festivals and competitions. In 2010, she won the title of Laureate of the prestigious international festival “FolkFest 2010” in the vocal nomination.

Every year the Ensemble gives a large number of concerts for foreign tourists and residents of our city. The ensemble has many different awards and commendations, and recently became the owner of the Grand Prix at the International Festival FolkFest 2010. We have a lot of creative plans. In the program of the Ensemble constantly appear new numbers, as well as various interesting and unusual projects. The ensemble toured in Sweden, Spain, the Czech Republic, Estonia, and many cities in Finland, where the concert halls were crowded and the audience stood at the end of each concert.

What does the word "Bagatitsa" mean? The simplest answer is that the Cossacks call a fire. And just like from a small spark, a big fire flares up, and our Ensemble, whose motto is “Guarding the Soul of Russia”, is gaining its strength!
