Evening of vocal chamber music

R. Schumann is one of the brightest representatives of musical romanticism, personifying in his work an ardent, eternally restless, protesting, passionately dreamy spirit, striving for the future. Rebellious impulses and dreamy lyrics, capricious variability of an endless source of impressions - all this found modern artistic incarnations in Schumann's music. Many of his works are fanned by the spirit of the romantic poetry of E. T. A. Hoffmann, G. Heine, Jean Paul and determined a lot in the musical and poetic structure of his work.

This inextricable connection between musical and literary images clearly manifested itself, first of all, in his cyclical works written both for the piano and in his vocal masterpieces - works that form the foundation of the repertoire of the overwhelming majority of musicians to this day. The best works of vocal and instrumental music by Schumann will be performed in our program.
