Excursion description:
The Theater District is a unique cultural and educational route that introduces the living history of Russian art. The theater district keeps the memory of the most important historical events, the people who made up the glory of the Russian scenic culture and famous statesmen.

Excursion objects - Alexandrinsky Theater, Museum of Theater and Musical Art, Theater Library, Academy of Russian Ballet. AND I. Vaganova - this is the historic quarter, bounded by Ostrovsky Square, Architectural Rossi Street, Lomonosov Square and the Fontanka River Embankment. It is here, starting from the XVIII century, that the world-famous theatrical traditions of Russia are created. The architectural ensemble of the quarter is a masterpiece of urban art.
