Concert "Tango. Oblivion"

Tango is a dance of passion, a love story in miniature. Tango is always improvisation and performance. Tango is a dance of the poor, which escaped from cheap taverns and entered the high-society living rooms. A dance that easily and elegantly conquered the whole world. Astor Piazzolla with his art managed to erase the line between serious and popular music. His new style aroused such indignation of the old guard, adherents of tradition, that the composer was even given the nickname - "tango killer"! Indeed, you no longer need to dance to the music of Piazzolla. However, time put everything in its place, although Argentina was the last to reconcile with Tango Nuevo - when the rebel was already over sixty.

The Divertissement Chamber Orchestra has prepared the Eternal Tango program, in which Argentine tango is naturally and naturally (as always in the ensemble's projects) combined with ... Russian tango. We invite you to an unforgettable evening in which art once again transcends the boundaries of space and time.
