The Tale of the Town in a Snuffbox

The tale of the Town in a Snuffbox has not lost its relevance and novelty even after 170 years, largely due to the fact that it teaches the youngest listeners to be inquisitive and brave, to be interested in the structure of devices and things everywhere. The action of the chamber story unfolds in the smallest and coziest hall of the Kochneva House - in the Fireplace Hall. The fantasy of the famous writer and inventor Vladimir Odoevsky allowed the artists to move the action and plot details inside ... a piano! Listeners can see with their own eyes the complex mechanism and the interrelations between the elements of the device. The narrative is accompanied by musical miniatures from cycles written by composers especially for children.
