Nadezhda Teffi (real name Nadezhda Lokhvitskaya) was the first Russian humorist of the early 20th century, the "queen of Russian humor", who, however, was never an apologist for pure humor. In her stories, she always combined it with light sadness, subtle sketches of everyday life, endless kindness and sincere sympathy for the characters - children and old people, widows and fathers of families. Nadezhda Teffi was incredibly kind, sympathetic and helpful in life. In emigration, which she spent mainly in Paris with "her face turned to Russia", the writer always found time and means to help her compatriots. They called her the white angel of emigration.

Master of artistic words Anna Yakovleva will present a unique literary one-man show at the Kochneva House based on the subtle, ironic and very bright stories of Nadezhda Teffi: "The Boat", "Family Chord", "In the Carriage", "Duty and Honor", "Repentant", "Happy". Each of them can not only be read, but also acted out as a mini-play. Different characters, different conversations, different people, different everyday situations... And only one thing unites the works: the infinitely kind, ironic and very smart attitude of the author to people and to the everyday situations they encounter. The background music of the program is French chanson performed by Vladimir Vodyannikov (accordion).
