The fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty," published by Charles Perrault in the 17th century, remains one of the most beloved and popular among generations of readers. However, this time, music will perhaps be the main character, imbuing this well-known story with a special charm, mysterious metamorphoses, and surprising discoveries capable of touching the deepest corners of the human soul.

The musical-theatrical production will begin with an interactive preamble in the Mirror Room, where the Fairy of Music will greet young and adult audiences, introduce the musicians, and introduce them to noble manners—after all, the action takes place in a magical kingdom! And then everyone will be invited into the auditorium, where the extraordinary story of Sleeping Beauty will be told to the sounds of flute, mandolin, organ, harpsichord, and piano.

The performance will introduce a wide range of works spanning four centuries and demonstrating various stylistic movements—from the Baroque to the avant-garde. Outstanding works by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell, John Dowland, William Byrd, Franz Liszt, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Olivier Messiaen will not only create a magical atmosphere but also allow you to listen more attentively and sensitively to the ancient fairy tale.
