Performance "Sleeping Beauty"

The fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty", published by Charles Perrault in the 17th century, still remains one of the most beloved and popular among many generations of readers. However, this time, perhaps, the main character will be music, thanks to which the famous story will be filled with a special charm, mysterious metamorphoses and amazing discoveries that can touch the most secret corners of the human soul.

The musical and theatrical production will begin with an interactive preamble in the Mirror Living Room, where the Fairy of Music will meet young and adult spectators, introduce musicians and introduce noble manners - after all, the action takes place in a magical kingdom! And then everyone will be invited into the hall, where the extraordinary story of Sleeping Beauty will be told to the sounds of flute, mandolin, organ, harpsichord and piano.

The performance will introduce a wide range of works that span four centuries and demonstrate different stylistic trends - from baroque to avant-garde. Outstanding works by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell, John Dowland, William Byrd, Franz Liszt, Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Olivier Messiaen will not only create a magical atmosphere, but will also allow you to listen more attentively and sensitively to the ancient fairy tale.
