In 2005, a unique creative team appeared on the banks of the Neva - the Bagatitsa Dance and Song Ensemble of the Cossacks.

Talented young artists, many of whom are hereditary Cossacks, successfully develop the long-term creative traditions of the Cossacks. All the artists of the Ensemble are professionals, graduates and students of the best creative universities in our country, many of them are diploma winners and laureates of all-Russian and international festivals and competitions.

Today the "Bagatitsa" Ensemble presents a unique folklore show, being one of the few ensemble of such a format in the world. The Ensemble includes an orchestra, a dancing choir and a singing ballet. A volcano of energy, Cossack temperament, valiant prowess, folk humor, colorfulness and spectacularity of a historically verified Cossack costume create an atmosphere of an unforgettable holiday at concerts. Each number is a scene from the real life of the Cossacks, told in a song or shown in a dance. Epics and thoughts, love and passion, valiant daring, festive celebrations - all this is shown in a modern performance that is understandable to any spectator.

Incendiary, sparkling Cossack songs and dances literally blow up any audience with their irrepressibility and high artistry, leading to complete and frantic delight.

The artistic director of the Ensemble and soloist is Tatiana Fominykh. Graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Art. He has been working in the Ensemble since its foundation. She is a laureate of many youth festivals and competitions. In 2010 she won the title of Laureate of the prestigious international festival "FolkFest 2010" in the nomination "vocal".

Every year the Ensemble gives a large number of concerts for foreign tourists and residents of our city. The ensemble has many different awards and gratitude, and recently became the owner of the "Grand Prix" of the International Festival "FolkFest 2010". We have many creative plans. In the program of the Ensemble, new numbers are constantly appearing, as well as various interesting and unusual projects. The ensemble toured Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Estonia, many cities in Finland, where concert halls were crowded and the audience stood up at the end of each concert.
