On the day of memory of Galina Vishnevskaya, P. I. Tchaikovsky’s opera “Eugene Onegin” will be performed. “Eugene Onegin” is a landmark work for the Opera Singing Center. Tatyana has always been Galina Pavlovna’s favorite heroine, and, “like a faithful and devoted friend,” she went through her “entire creative life, giving joy and inspiration.” The singer’s career at the Bolshoi Theater began with this role, and in the same role Vishnevskaya said goodbye to the opera stage at the Grand Opera in Paris in 1982.

For the new production of Eugene Onegin, the artistic director of the Center, Olga Rostropovich, invited a team of outstanding masters. Stage director - People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Vasiliev - ballet soloist, choreographer, choreographer, theater director, artist, poet, teacher. The set design and costumes were created by Yuri Cooper, a famous artist, graphic artist, set designer, and writer. Yuri Cooper's works are in major collections in the world. Stage conductor - artistic director and chief conductor of the Novosibirsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, musical director and chief conductor of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theater Dmitry Yurovsky. Spectators will see and hear a full-fledged version of the opera, which will combine a classical interpretation of musical and literary material with historical costumes and the use of modern technologies in design. At one time, Tchaikovsky entrusted the first performance of the opera to young singers from the Moscow Conservatory and, in continuation of tradition, the heroes of the performance were the young soloists of the Galina Vishnevskaya Center.
