Sholom Aleichem is a Jewish writer, playwright and educator, one of the founders of Yiddish literature, including children's literature. The writer's works have been translated into many languages, including Russian. Critics call him the Jewish Mark Twain for the similarity of styles and love of children's literature. Later, when they met, Mark Twain noted that he considered himself the American Sholem Aleichem.

"Wandering Stars" is the most famous work of the Jewish writer and classic of world literature Sholem Aleichem, first published in periodicals in 1910-1911.

In his novel, the brilliant author, who is familiar with the lives of ordinary people, lifts the curtain on what is hidden behind the stage of the theater, and against this background tells a bizarre but true love story.
