On December 13, 2013, the Saint Petersburg Symphony Orchestra was founded under the direction of People's Artist of Russia Sergey Stadler. The young ensemble immediately won acclaim from St. Petersburg audiences, who appreciated the diversity of its repertoire and the skill of its musicians.

The orchestra performs music from the baroque to the avant-garde, including works rarely performed in Russia. He performs at Russia's finest concert venues, including the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the P. I. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella, the State Hermitage Museum, and others. The cultural life of the Northern capital today is unimaginable without the annual "Music of War and Victory" projects at the Peter and Paul Fortress and the "Autumn Music Marathon."
