St. Petersburg has always been associated with Italy – after all, its image was created by Italian architects; it's no wonder our city is called the "Venice of the North"! In the Hermitage's Italian Skylight Hall, home to a magnificent collection of Italian fine art, the Baltic Chamber Orchestra invites you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of various Italian cities and eras through the music of famous Italian composers.

The program will feature works by Italian composers:

1. Albinoni. Adagio

2. Vivaldi. Concerto Grosso in D minor

3. Vivaldi. Summer (or another time of year)

4. Verdi. Introduction to Act 3 of La Traviata

5. Mascani. Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana

7. Boccherini. Minuet

8. Boccherini. Quintet: The Night Watch in Madrid

9. Rota. String Concerto

10. Caccini. Ave Maria
