"Echo" is a contemporary dance work that explores resonance as a physical, emotional, and human action in space. The piece examines how movement, gesture, or presence can be transmitted from one body to another, shaping relationships, perception, and identity. Like waves unfolding over different periods of time, the work reflects on the cumulative impact of small actions and how they imperceptibly transform inner reality.

The language of movement emerges from the human body itself—circular, dynamic, and constantly connecting dancers in a shared field of communication. Through this exchange, a process of mutual influence unfolds: each body influences and is influenced, each reaction alters the individual path of the collective. The piece draws on previous physical explorations of falling, grounding, holding, dependence, and release, combining floor work, partner movements, and release techniques.

My choreographic approach centers on deep listening—of the body, the space, and what exists between them. The composition becomes a living, fluid structure, created through reactions, echoes, and transformations in real time. The dancers move sometimes as a single organism, sometimes in duets, trios, or alone, gradually forming an interconnected whole. The stage itself acts not simply as a backdrop but as an active partner, carrying and amplifying the resonance.

The music is created specifically for this piece and its surroundings, using live studio recordings, natural sounds, voice, lyrics, and song. This sound exploration forms an integral layer of the choreographic process, exploring how body and sound can resonate and complement each other without overwhelming physical experience.

My interest in echo stems from a desire to understand how experience continues to live in the body long after the moment itself has passed. For me, the body is a living archive: every action, touch, or movement leaves behind a physical and emotional trace. "Echo" explores resonance not only as an acoustic phenomenon but also as a human experience—something that moves between bodies and space, leaving an emotional imprint even after it fades.

"For several years, I've been writing notes: reflections on my profession, on the profession of a dancer. From these excerpts, I've formed a textual canvas, from which the playwright and I decided to create a dance performance. In this work, I address myself and the audience with various questions. Sometimes I find an answer. Sometimes I don't. What does the body want? Rest? Can we do the same, but without pain?"
