Ivan Belozertsev. "U-Man"

U-MAN is a performance about the boundaries of personality, digital representation, and human interaction with the technological world. The title combines two significant components: "U" stands for "you," which places the viewer in a process of reflection and interaction. "MAN" stands for "man," a symbol of human essence and its manifestations, both internal and external. Together, U-MAN translates as "You are a Man" or "A Man Like You." The performance explores the transformation of identity in the digital age and poses the question to the viewer: where does your personality end and digital representation begin?

This performance is about individualization, the process of formation, development, and identification of unique personality traits that distinguish one from others, as well as an approach that takes these traits into account. It implies self-determination, differentiation, the development of individuality, and the formation of a holistic, unique personality throughout life. This is a work of three media simultaneously – dance, sound, and video.
