Antonio’s father works as a violinist in an orchestra. Antonio also becomes a violinist. Soon he begins teaching music at an orphanage for girls, which in Venice came to be known as conservatories.

And then one day he meets a blind girl whose name means “Light”… Magical events intertwine the fates of the girl and the famous composer.

Real biographical events from Vivaldi’s life are interwoven with fiction. Only faith in a miracle helps Antonio and the girl on their journey.

The play features music by A. Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, J.B. Lully, and O. Respighi.
