Eliza, you're a fool!

A fantasy performance based on the play "Pygmalion" by the English playwright Bernard Shaw.

The play, written in the early 20th century, is based on the myth of the Cretan sculptor Pygmalion, who created an indifferent beauty out of marble whose beauty destroyed the creator of his great work.

The famous and beloved Englishman created a true masterpiece from his experiment, and the ART Theatre brought it to life on the stage of the Petersburg Concert. Thus, by placing at the center of the plot a duet of unsuspecting lovers: the poor flower girl Eliza Doolittle from the outskirts of London, who dreams of becoming a true lady through persistence, patience, and talent, and the confirmed bachelor, Professor Henry Higgins, the playwright, and then the director, skillfully juggle the situations of the gradual enchantment of a woman and the inevitable disappointment of a man in love. The result is a meticulously crafted comedy of situations with an inevitably happy ending and happy actors reveling in their charming English characters.
