The Snow Queen

This production based on Andersen's famous fairy tale tells the story of the boundless power of true love. In search of her sworn brother, little Gerda wanders half the world barefoot, encountering insurmountable obstacles along the way. But Gerda's warm, innocent heart is driven by one thing—love for Kai, and people, animals, birds, and... angels come to her aid.

Only those who possess an inexhaustible flame of love, those who trust their heart's voice, those whose only desire for love is self-fulfillment, those who fall asleep singing a prayer for their beloved, are capable of performing miracles and are guided by a guardian angel.

The performance features music by Eduard Grieg and Jacques Sibelius.
