Lionel Holstein is our contemporary who wrote a wonderful melodrama about a lifelong love story. The plot centers on an isosceles triangle formed by two men, David Halpern and Edward Johnson, and one woman with the beautiful name Florence, who exists only in the characters' memories.

Three destinies, entwined in a tight knot of encounters and separations, and a single question each one tries to answer: "Is it worth regretting what didn't happen, even if, at the very end of life, you learn that everything could have happened?"

The play is aimed at audiences who appreciate a serious conversation about life and family values, but who are also not devoid of self-irony, common sense, and a sense of humor that smooths over any rough edges and dramas.

Inspired by this story, happy marriages will become even happier, and unhappy ones might even try to solve the equation of their own family.

The performance won a diploma at the XI International Theatre Festival "Dobry Teatr-2012" in the "Best Direction" category and was nominated for the St. Petersburg "Golden Sofit" award.
