New Year's concert with the St.Petersburg Symphony Orchestra

New Year's concert with the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra

On the last day of the passing year, the St. Petersburg Variety Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Andrei Medvedev will present the public with the ideal holiday playlist: light pop music in tune with the anticipation of the holiday. It’s a pleasure to choose gifts, decorate the Christmas tree and make wishes to these tunes.

On December 31, in the Great Hall of the Catherine’s Assembly, instrumental pieces will be played in which there is not a single sad note. Only fireworks of emotions, splashes of champagne and lights of festive garlands! Each composition is a masterpiece of symphonic jazz. An elegant waltz will be replaced by a fiery foxtrot, a lyrical composition will be replaced by a mischievous musical joke, and a sensual lambada will be replaced by frantic Rock'n'Roll.

Bonus of the evening: spectators who come to the concert can perform iconic New Year and Christmas hits along with the orchestra and dance to cheerful orchestral rhythms.
