Pollyanna, a Family Play

This family play tells the story of a girl who, despite adversity, never lost faith in the best and gave hope to everyone around her.

After the death of her parents, 11-year-old Pollyanna was taken in by her Aunt Polly, known for her stern personality. From the atmosphere of parental love, Pollyanna found herself in a world of strict rules and prohibitions. But she didn't give up! Her father taught her a simple and fun game—the ability to enjoy life under any circumstances. Always cheerful, Pollyanna's optimism irritated not only her aunt but also the other residents of the gloomy town, who believed they had nothing to be happy about. Soon, they all discovered Pollyanna's unusual game, and their lives began to change!

Pollyanna's cheerful disposition and her ability to find a reason to laugh in everything not only changed the way the townspeople saw the world, but even the stern Aunt Polly "thawed" and realized how dear this small but very strong girl was to her.
