"A small masterpiece" - this is how contemporaries of the French composer Francis Poulenc described his mono-opera "The Human Voice" - a musical creation that amazes with its extraordinary emotionality and beauty. In this exciting work, the author so realistically depicted the despair and pain of the main character that he showed himself to be a true connoisseur of the female soul, her inner world. The opera is based on the play of the same name by the French playwright Jean Cocteau, in which, through only a telephone conversation between a woman and her lover who left her, the deepest life drama of the heroine is sympathetically revealed. "The Human Voice" is one of the most insightful works about loneliness and love, which Poulenc called nothing less than a lyrical tragedy.

"It is absolutely clear to me that women rule the world," said Marquez. "The only thing women do not forgive is betrayal. If you set the rules of the game right away, whatever they may be, women usually accept them. But they do not tolerate when the rules change during the game. In such cases, they become ruthless...". The second part of the evening will be a laconic story of the famous Latin American writer, author of the immortal novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude".
