Concert

Albert Einstein believed that science reveals the unknown in nature, while music reveals the unknown in the human soul. The famous physicist himself played the violin, while his contemporary, the founder of quantum theory, Max Planck, in his youth, debated whether to become a concert pianist or pursue physics. Einstein and Planck often played together, and this remarkable duet—violin and piano—has gone down in the history of both music and science.

The concert program includes works by J.S. Bach, W.-A. Mozart, F. Schubert, R. Schumann, J. Brahms, as well as violin excerpts from F. Glass's opera "Einstein on the Beach."
