This evening, one of St. Petersburg's most luxurious and historic concert halls will share with you the sounds of key compositions by contemporary composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, Yann Tiersen, Alexandre Desplat, Nino Rota, and many others.

You will hear a collection of vibrant and individual musical works written for iconic films, chronologically reflecting all stages of the life of film music.

Cinema reflects life, spirituality, and creative culture, and music sets all these components in motion, connecting the film with our souls. Credit for this goes to composers working in the neoclassical musical style and writing works specifically for films. Although their compositions were written as soundtracks, they often made it onto international charts, naturally becoming beloved by audiences.
